BEHIND THE LENS

 

My name is Nick Richert and I am 19 years old. I graduated from Huntley High School in 2016. I am a freelance Photographer based in Lake In The Hills of Illinois. 

 

​ During High School, I took a Photography class as well as a Photoshop class. I had started with a Nikon Coolpix (a non DSLR), however saw much more potential in myself within the Photography Field. At 18, I bought my first DSLR (Canon Rebel T6) and fell in love instantly. I particularly enjoy using props such as fairy lights, smoke grenades, bokeh, and sparklers for pictures (on my own time), while doing separate, more formal pictures such as senior pictures, portraits, etc. Photography has always been a passion of mine and to do it as a career is the goal I am aiming to reach.
